Worth fixing battery on 2014 MacBook Pro to sell it?
I have a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro (15” retina display, 2.5GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and 500GB storage) which I don’t use anymore and is just gathering dust because it needs a battery replacement. It needs to be plugged in to work and the old battery has inflated so that the trackpad doesn’t click anymore.
I ideally want to sell it to make a little money back but I don’t know if fixing the battery and then trying to sell it is worth it for what I’d make. I would probably try fixing the battery myself to make the fix as cheap as possible.
I’m keen to hear people’s thoughts on the best approach and any other good ideas for what to do with this old machine. Thanks!
