If I’m being honest, “Through the Wire” and “All Falls Down” aren’t Kanye’s best songs on The College Dropout, even though they’re still really good.

With Kanye West, other songs just do more. “Jesus Walks” is way bigger and more powerful because it mixes gospel and rap and has a stronger message. “Last Call” is also better because it tells his whole story in a deeper way and feels more unique. Even “Slow Jamz” stands out more because it’s smoother and had a bigger impact when it came out.

So those two songs are important and catchy, but other tracks on the album are just more creative and feel like he put more into them overall.
