So I've decided to take the plunge and start getting an enclosure together for my first snake! I've got the enclosure, substrate, and a handful of other things on the way, but I'm getting hung up on the heating lamp and the UVB lamp. I can't seem to find a good consensus on which UVB lamp to use and which strength/size I'd need for the 4x2x2.

For the heating lamp I'm currently looking at this, https://www.amazon.com/REPTIZOO-Reptile-Thermostat-Temperature-Controller/dp/B0BYJ54K9Z but I'm not sure what type of bulb to get. I live in Arizona so my usual house temp is around 75F, so would a 50w bulb work well for it?

For UVB there's so many options and I can't seen to figure out which one would work best for the 4x2x2, and a lot of them range from $100+. If there's any less expensive options out there I'd really appreciate suggestions!

Recently my interest has been piqued into snakes and so I'm currently considering getting a corn snake as my first snake. I'm still WAY WAY off buying anything but I'm currently doing my due diligence and researching everything.

One thing I'm getting stuck on is the size of a tank for the lil fella. Most snakes for purchase I've seen are year old's well under 2 feet long. I'm the kind of person who likes to buy the best first so I don't have to buy another thing down the road. Should I go for a full 4x2x2 right off the bat and then make sure it's properly furnished with lots of hides and clutter? Or should I go for smaller and upgrade when they're bigger.

Also suggestions on good enclosures that aren't super expensive would be really appreciated!
