Looking for Guidance
My Sister is moderately disabled and living with my husband and I since our Mother passed 4 1/2 years ago. Before she died my mother INSISTED my sister needed a Malamute (They had owned them before), so she got a 6 month old (at the Time) Purebred Mal. My husband and I have 2 dogs who were here before they moved in (11 lb Jack Russell, and 35 lb Boston Terrier Mix) Fast forward to now. Before the Mal moved in our dogs had run of the house other than crate time if we went out, or at bedtime. They are both now crated most of the day because the Mal was never Socialized, or had formal training. We have to keep the Mal away from our dogs as well as our grandkids for their safety as she is very reactive and will growl, and snap. She has tried to bite my sister more times than I can count, and has left bruises on her from "swatting" when being corrected. Can this dog be trained?
