Floor layout question
Hello all,
I’m looking to start my first ever tiling project. I will be doing 12by24 tiles and I think with the layout of my bathroom floor, I would need to go vertical instead of horizontal.
I’ve measured out the first 2 tiles and and hopefully you can see the outline of the 2nd tile. This tile would wrap around the end of this wall. Will this layout work? I was told that this tile will break as it’s closer to the edge instead of the middle. Hoping to get some advice and confirm if my initial plan will work or if I need to change anything. I’m open to all suggestions.
Another quick question, my one wall is all concrete and need to fill in some patches. Should I use a bag of quickcrete or is there a better product I can put on the wall before I tile?
I’m from Canada if that matters lol
