i have been using kiro for the last 3 months and honestly, its just garbage. Both claude code and codex are much better than kiro.
Every major IDE has opus 4.7 since its released, while the community is still waiting for it. MCP keeps failing on long running tasks and sometimes it is unable to write skill files even when full permissions are given to it. Themes on the kiro IDE doesn't fit properly.
The way how AWS team is progressing with Kiro, seems like either they are short staffed or simply mid(average) engineers. Not sorry for this statement but, ball's on your court. Discontinue the product and divest time elsewhere.
Update:
there's no worktree feature, tasks get queued. to bypass this, i need to open multiple kiro windows on the project just so i can multi-prompt. doesn't make any sense to open 6 kiro windows for 2 projects with 3 branches. if i have codex/claude, i can just work fine on a single window with several projects, even on seveal worktrees/branches. works just wonderfully. Codex, cursor, claude, and 69 others have it already.
