so I had an ICU internship interview and I feel like I was totally awkward because it seems like they were also awkward from the very start. I mentioned my hobbies and how I am in person but I feel like I didn't really give it my all. I am usually very joyful in interviews but prepping the night before made me very nervous overall. I didn't even prepare for my nursing school interview and still got in. But the internships really made me a bit nervous like I couldn't find my train of thought. but overall, I do pick myself up during the interview (I think). It was also a bit short since they only asked me 4-5 questions? I don't know if this is common but it seems like they were just not interested I guess. I am a few months away from graduation now and I want an internship because it will help me with my job hunt especially in the west coast US. I do have another interview but it is for Surgery. I feel like ICU would have been really nice as well for experiences but I'm a little bummed out that I was a bit awkward so I'm thinking that they might choose someone else but hopefully not LOL. How can I make my next interview more memorable? what have you done to be less nervous?
