Coincidentally similar premises
When two or more pieces of media release around the same time with oddly similar concepts, premises, or general "vibes", I guess.

Despicable me/megamind; both films follow a supervillain with an army of minions at their disposal as they undergo a character arc over the course of the movie to become good, facing off against a rival villain, and ending with them still retaining their villainous style, but focused on good rather than evil; megamind with Roxanne and the city, and gru with his girls.
Amphibia/the owl house; a young girl ends up getting teleported to another fantastical dimension, forms a found family with a knowledgeable elder and two sibling-esque roommates, and uncovers ancient history on her adventures, leading up to fighting an evil monarch who desires genocide and wants the artifact the main character has to travel back to earth. The main character ends up sent home in the final stretch of the story, now helping the friends from the other world she made get back to their home in a sort of reverse-isekai, and it all ends in an awesome power-up showdown for the good of both worlds.
Dennis the menace uk/us; somehow, on the same exact day, two people thought up a comic series following a young rebellious and mischievous boy called Dennis the menace, who wears red and a shirt with black stripes.
