What kind of talent trees do you want to see in the future?
Currently, we only have one talent tree for each class. Yes, each tree has three branches to give you some choice in how you want to use that tree's base mechanic, but it still locks you into that one mechanic.
- Warrior: Hemorrhage
- Rogue: Lethal Poison
- Mage: Chaincast
- Priest: Sunlight
However, the roadmap does say that in the future we'll be getting "3 talent trees per class", so I thought it would be neat to think about what those other options might end up being.
- Warrior's current tree focuses on crit/bleed offense, so they could get an alternative that places more of an emphasis on threat/aggro/tanking/damage reduction
- Rogue's current tree focuses on damage over time as well, so they could get an alternative that places more of an emphasis on burst damage from building up combo points to stack a big finisher; another option would be to do something besides damage, like debuffs (e.g. enemy is slowed/rooted from the rogue cutting their tendon)
- Mage's current tree focuses on spamming spell casts, so they could get an alternative that places more of an emphasis on charging up a massive nuke more slowly
- Priest's current tree focuses on skills empowering attacks, so they could get an alternative that places more of an emphasis on staying as a pure backline caster
