Who killed/called who in 7
In the opening scene, I think it probably could have been any one of them TBH. I know we saw Jessica in Pine Grove at like 8-9am the next morning in Indiana, but even so, I won’t rule out Jessica as the one who killed Scott and Madison. While it was already dark when they arrived at the Macher house, it was in late November so even if they arrived there at like 5:30 it still probably would have gone dark by then. Then after that, Jessica probably could have gotten a flight at like 10pm. Pine Grove is in Indiana and Woodsboro is in California (in the scream universe since they aren’t real towns). It’s about a four hour flight from California to Indiana, and California’s time zone is about three hours behind Indiana’s (so 10pm in Woodsboro would equal 1am in Pine Grove). If Jessica got a flight at 10pm then she’d probably be back in Indiana by 6am Indiana time. While she did obviously live with Lucas, who would have known she wasn’t home on that night, she probably would have just told him that she was on a business trip or something like that, and he would probably believe her because she was his mother.
So yeah, I would like to think it was Jessica at the Macher house, but I’m not necessarily going to rule out Marco either because his whereabouts were completely unknown when this happened. I think it’s unlikely that it was Karl, because Karl was only a minor character, and wasn’t really meant to be one of the primary killers. I think the only reason he was even involved was because he was purely meant to be a plot device because they wanted to make it look like Stu was alive and that Karl was friends with Stu. But since he was such a minor character, it wouldn’t make much sense to me if it was Karl who was in the opening scene.
With Sidney’s first phone call, I think this was obviously Jessica because the caller seemed like someone who knew Sidney and was close with her, but Marco and Karl had no connection with Sidney at all. Plus the killer also talks about how it wasn’t the same without Sidney in New York.
I also I think it was Jessica who killed Hannah and Aaron because the killer knew their way around the theatre. Jessica would probably know her way around there since her son knew it very well, and because her son was a participant there, she herself had probably been in there multiple times before. Marco and Karl on the other hand, likely wouldn’t have been allowed in there. Plus I also don’t think it was Karl because I think at the time this happened, Karl was probably making his way into Sidney’s house, in fact I actually think the main reason why Hannah was killed was because it was meant to be a distraction so that Karl could get into the house without being noticed by the police.
While Jessica did say Lucas was at home with her and Lucas didn’t contest this, it’s possible that this was just because Lucas didn’t want to make himself look suspicious, because the police were already questioning him, so if Jessica was lying when she said she was with Lucas at the exact time, Lucas probably wouldn’t have said no she wasn’t because that would mean he was by himself too.
I think Marks attack was Jessica because Karl was obviously dead now, and Marco was likely still at Fallbrook, because this literally happened like right after the scene where Sidney and Gale were at Fallbrook.
And obviously it was Karl who attacked Sidney’s family, Marco who killed Ben and then was shot through the wall by Tatum, and Jessica was the killer at the bar who killed Chloe and and her own son Lucas.
And also Marco was likely the one who did all the AI deepfakes.
