I am re-reading ACOSF and I had forgotten the iconic quote “Keep reaching out your hand.” And Cassian does. When they started training in Windhaven we even have a moment where he physically reaches out his hand to Nesta so that she starts training with him and says “Please.” PLEASE!!? I was having a deja-vu right then and there. And Nesta did not take his hand then but they still ended up together.

My TikTok feed is flooded with Zutara analysis and opinions and as someone who shipped them back then and still ships them regardless of canon because to me they were narratively the better ship, I can’t help but compare them to Bryceriel.

They remind me SO MUCH of Bryce and Azriel and the kind of potential Bryceriel has as a couple. It’s so so similar to Zutara.

I love how that community has not died because of canon. 🥹🥹🥹
