Hello! I'm an incoming SHS student in the Philippines next school year and currently im having trouble figuring out if i should pursue being an Architect or Interior designer.

Currently im worrying about is that i think my family won't approve me choosing interior designer as my career path. I'm someone who is really into arts and designing and honestly architecture isn't what i had in mind in terms of career paths but i heard somewhere that if i become an architect i can try to land a position as an designer or something??? But how does that work? Can someone please explain TvT

Like do i have to work for a few years first as a junior architect to become an designer architect??

Or should i just straight up pursue becoming an interior designer?

Hello! As of now im a JHS student in her 4th year and im stuck in between choosing practicality or what i really want to do. Over the past few years i find myself being intrigued and really into designing—Any type as long as it involves designing—Like literally. I enjoyed designing magazines for school projects, pubmats, ppt's, miniatures, portfolio's, etc.

Especially when it comes to clothing/costumes! So now im having trouble in deciding what career path i should take since being a fashion designer isn't practical especially in the Philippines.

Lately i've been thinking maybe i should just pursue architecture instead since it has some branches that includes designing like interior designing but honestly studying 7yrs for a course that im not even sure nor want in the first place feels wrong.

I honestly don't know what to do anymore, I tried talking to my sister about it and she said to consider any med path but like bro i really can't see myself being anywhere in med field. Also, my mom doesn't support my dreams of being a fashion designer.

I need help on finding what career path i should take. I wnna have an open mind when it comes to career choices but i really can't see myself in anything other than something that is art related.. If ya'll know any career path that includes a form of art especially designing that is kinda practical, Please say so! Thankyouu
