So last week I learned any of my commissions from contracts signed prior to my filing date will likely be seen as assets and taken by the trustee. I closed 1 deal a little over a week after filing but the rest have had other due diligence to go through and won’t close until 4 days prior to my 341. My attorney said I have to list all potential income and just hope the trustee lets me retain some of the funds. Is there any hope that I’ll find something out regarding my commissions before my 341? Otherwise am I supposed to sit and stare at 62K in commission checks while my fridge gets empty and debts for marketing and photography go unpaid? For reference, no sales since October, which played a huge part in why BK ended up being my only option. Then this month is a record sales month at the wrong freaking time.
