Jango Slave-1 UCS - Hated this build
Purchased from Joooooy - quick ship from US warehouse. Easily my favorite site for KO sets - first time I’ve ever had multiple missing parts - and not common ones either. Got a few bags in and was missing sand green large slope #7249; Joying immediately responded to send the part out. Had a few incorrect but similar parts that I was able to modify to make fit - but the included instructions didn’t show these part changes. Luckily I’m a Bricklink seller and made it work - also was missing a white slope # 11290; luckily I had one in dark bluish gray and it looks fine. Oddly enough - tons of random leftover pieces - small med and large; bizarre!
Brick quality was ok - clutch was tight overall - 1x1s were challenging especially in tight spots.
Jango Minifig was decent - Boba not so much; no pics, gave them to my 3 year old for his KO fig collection and they are long gone, mixed up lol
I gotta say - this build in general was not enjoyable. I’ve built hundreds of sets - plenty of Lego and KO…
The end result is pretty damn cool but something about it… wasn’t engaging, this thing has taken me a few months because I just kept not wanting to dive back in… it’s been sitting off to the side - taunting me…somehow I even misplaced the sticker sheet and only got a few on at the beginning of the build.
I started February first and finally finished May 7th.
Looking forward to the new Mando starship as my next build - happy building all!
