The broth prefecture?

Hi! I am making some research on what prefecture has the most "broth/soup culture" for a roleplay character in a group whose story takes place in japan.
Like what is the prefecture thats the most famous for its broth based dishes? If i had to tell you the name of the prefecture in one word and i said "broth" what would come to mind?
So like, so far I have been told both Fukuoka and Kagawa prefectures, but I want to be properly informed! Wouldn't be respectful to japan if i just pulled info out of thin air
Apart from roleplay reasons, i also love Japanese culture in general, im trying to get through Kana (god, can't get through hiragana due to lack of time) and i know how to say a bunch of stuff, also i enjoy the occasional video(god bless Kyota Ko)/article about Japanese culture
Basically i wanna hear the opinion of Japanese people directly if possible!
