Hello,
I am looking to build my confidence and fitness by joining a sport. I am in my 30s and have tried a few things but not naturally competitive however, like getting involved and having fun.
I did a judo beginners group, there were only 3 woman including myself in a group of 30+. They really tried to make us feel comfortable but I found contact with random 6ft men who didn't seem to want to be paired with me awkward. After the course I never went back.
I've done many fitness/gym type classes where everyone works individually and a regular yoga goer, but I am hoping to find something that I can work with others and learn new skills.
I was looking at kickboxing. If anyone has any experience? Or any suggestions appreciated.
