Just spreading some knowledge, works for me maybe can work for you? I had some 3/8” wide straws, so I’ve added them to my daily driver(s) pencil case. This not only helps with the non-retracting tipped MPs, but also keeps it from rubbing against other items in the case, essentially a scratch free solution for those precious tools.
Ive only learnt of this recently, so no reported downsides yet.
Quite lightweight and has a nice “compact” feel bc of the shorter length. May be a good choice to keep in a traveler notebook, ah yes doh. To act as a companion for their notebooks.

An accumulation of this weeks arrivals. Some mech pens and accessories either purchased or were included. Has anyone built a home out of MPs? - this fool may be homeless with a bag of pencils soon.
Some have been added to “complete” a set (are they really ever, though?). Some for additional colorways. Some, just for the mere fact that i Must have. There are some that aren’t particularly in my realm of aesthetics, but am very curious to try! Those being:
