I know you guys see a lot this question lately. The reason why I ask is that the current MacBook(M3 air 8 Gb) is my first Mac ever. So, I don’t know the real performance in real usages.

I am Computer Science student (Sophomore for now) and lately my 8Gb laptop can’t handle for my assignments. So, I decide to buy a new one and want to sure for next 3-6 years.

I am deciding to go robotics career part (Machine Learning and Embedded Software part), and want to do some backend development as hobby and, some hobby videos editing. So, I think I will be doing some training, simulation and dockerization. But never would do in parallel (like I won’t do backend while I am doing ML stuff).

I really want to know recommendations from you guys.
