weird things happening on my minecraft world
i had no videos, or photos to back this up so believe if you will.
I got minecraft in 2021 but never really tried survival. that was until recently, when i decided i wanted to beat the game.
I started up a new world and the seed I joined was beautiful. It was a bunch of islands seperated by water with small caves everywhere.
I found a flat area to build my house and it was going great.
On my second day, I started mining.
It was hard to mine as mobs were everywhere the second I entered this small cave near my house so I would fight them off and place torches so they wouldn't respawn. The only weird thing was these slime that would spawn in small subsections of the cave but I'm guessing that's normal.
The cave had two paths on either side, one led to more subcaves while the other led to this strange terrain of caves being intersected by a waterfall.
I generally ignored the waterfall cave because it was dangerous since mobs would spawn there. Remember, this is an island.
Something just felt off about the world but that probably was because I had watched some minecraft args before. this is not fake if I have to clarify again, everything I'm telling you happened and I don't have any screenshots or videos is because why would I record a minecraft playthrough in the first place? at the time I didn't suspect anything.
Everything was going in my favour and I already had full iron armor and gear. All the horses and donkey somehow were tamed the second I rode them. The only problem was because it was a series of islands, barely any structures spawned.
In one of the cave subsections, there was a drop down to a big corridor like cave with tons of mobs.
I went in but the mobs easily brought me down to one heart, I barely got out alive.
I got prepared again and went into the corridor but this time, no mobs spawned.
I freely mined iron and explored the corridor when I found this small underwater pool of water.
If there is something in this world, I can comfortably say that it's power is water, somehow, I'll expand later on about this when it makes more sense why.
Back to the pool, I went in and started exploring a little bit.
Somehow, I was getting pushed and launched around in the water and I started to drown. I tried going back up to the cave but the cave wasn't there anymore. I finally saw light but drowned as soon as I saw it.
I was under the impression that all my stuff was forever lost. I didn't quit and kept going, I got iron gear again but then a creeper came and blew up a wall of my house.
I went to go get wood to replace the wall and as I mined near the water, I noticed something.
My stuff from earlier was somehow in the river.
THis river was on the opposite side of the cave I drowned in but my stuff was there.
I was even more confused at the fact that my stuff didn't despawn as it had been twenty minutes or so after drowning.
I gladly picked it all up and went on my way.
I decided to go explore more on my donkey which for some reason was much faster than my horse.
I found a pillager outpost and killed all the pillagers, after doing so, I took the loot and was about to leave when I noticed something.
Pillagers were spawning inside the cells where usually iron golems and allays were.
Whenever a pillager would respawn, it was always in the cell like they were being captured.
I left the outpost as at the time, I thought this was just natural and Mojang added it in for some reason.
At this point, I decided that I wanted to leave the islands for a little bit, find a big biome with structures and get more loot.
I went back to the cave corridor one final time and to leave, I did what I always did, which was climbing back up with a water bucket.
This time however, I got pushed out of the water and died by fall damage. The weird thing was it wasn't even that big of a fall so how did I die?
I rushed back to get my stuff and luckily the water was still there so I could easily get down to my stuff.
When I got my loot I started heading back up the water when suddenly my game crashed.
When I got back on, this weird rustling cave sound started playing and I was in one of the subsections of the big cave . I had lost all my items and when I went back to get them, they were gone.
Then mobs started spawning again, even though I had lighted up the area.
They spawned in the water and killed me.
That's when I stopped playing and made this post.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that it all started happening after I made a dirt pillar next to my house so I could see where it was from far.
The dirt pillar was in the shape of a trident but I ran out of dirt to build the trident making it broken.
I don't know why but I feel like this trident had something to do with everything that happened. If this post actually gets attention, I'll start playing the world again and take screenshots. The seed is -4669141726995513731 but I don't know if this will work for everyone. Something about this feels personal. My house was pretty close to spawn so I don't think I need to give coordinates.
This is bedrock edition btw but I feel like everything that happened is to convenient to be a glitch.
Anyways, that's all I have now and I might keep playing the world but it's hard to find motivation since everything is gone.
