I'm having a 30x48' steel tube garage installed in the next month, and the only stress factor I'm running into right now is how I'm going to insulate it to keep it heated during the winter months. My initial hope was that we could use Silvercote R19 6' wide blanket strips to line the steel frame with, then put the sheeting down over that, sealing it to the frame. The builder says he's not sure if they can though, and he'll get back to me...
My second option would be R13 2" poly foam boards between the studs. A lot of cutting and work, but still cheaper than spray foaming.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
