Recent Opportunity - need advice.
Hello everyone;
Long story short, funding meant exclusively for travel has been awarded to me by my employer. I have $3500USD in credit to travel anywhere. I'm a single father of two with our family vacations already booked. I'm thinking of taking a short trip for me. The challenge is I really don't travel. Ever. I don't have any idea where to start.
Are there such things as short term travel groups? I can't see myself being gone for longer than a few days.
I'm based in the Canadian West. I'd like to travel with a group as I've heard good things. I enjoy colder climates and seeing wildlife and nature more than events or concerts. I'm not out of shape but I'm not trekking the Appalachian any time soon.
Any resources, suggestions, or guidance for travel out of Canada somewhere in the world would be appreciated with that budget (and some wiggle room) in mind.
