so i’m an incoming freshman admitted to virginia tech honors ( college of sciences) and i’ve realized i want to do engineering.
i got admitted to arts & sciences not engineering so my plan would be to come in, complete the change of major requirements, and switch into ECE from there. from what i’ve read the bar isn’t too high (2.0 GPA + required coursework) and there’s even a GPA guarantee if you meet the requirements
for anyone who has gone through the internal transfer to engineering at vtech:
• how hard is it actually in practice?
• how long did it take?
• did you get your first choice major?
• does coming in through college of sciences put you behind at all?
