Help with idea.

Hi guys I have an idea that might work for my situation and I’d love some help with the process.

Before we start, I’d like for you all to know I am not tech savvy. I can follow instructions but have no idea when it comes to complicated processes.

The situation: Okay so I have an issue with my home internet set up that I’ve tried diagnosing and had a few people look at that I’ve given up on trying to fix. I live on a 10 acre farm, using starlink internet. It works great and as intended. Now the issue is all with my router that is connected to the starlink that gives internet to the whole property using wired connections and a few nodes to give internet to a shop and barn along with accessory apartment. This main router connected to the starlink for some reason crashes out and cuts all the internet every other day and I just flip the surge protector on and off and the issue is resolved within a few minutes. I’ve given up on trying to diagnose the issue with the router since it’s not that big of a deal, unless I am out of town.

My goal now is to have a way to restart that router while I am away. So we also have another source of internet at home, I was thinking getting a smart switch that can connect to that surge protector and I can manually connect while I am not home and be able to restart. I do get a notification on my phone when the internet is out because of all my Apple devices just telling me they are offline. Is there smart switches that would work for this and do I need to also connect maybe an Amazon product to the other internet source as a hub? Or am I making this too complicated and there’s a better solution?

Hi guys, this is penny. After doing a ton of research on the breed I finally found a breeder in another state and recently got this beautiful and perfect puppy. We have her first vet visit coming up next week and thought I’d ask on here about it since Reddit is super helpful. She is AKC registered and the breeder has a good history from what they showed us. However I thought it was odd that she still has her dew claws, not a huge deal but she also has a really scraggly coat. It’s mainly her back that seems super patchy, is this how puppies are normally? This is also my first time owning a cavalier but I do have a cavapoo which is why we wanted her. Her shedding is also very crazy and I knew this breed sheds but I am concerned maybe it’s the puppy food that the breeder provided. I do plan on getting full genetic testing just to get ahead of anything that might come up, what kind of questions should I ask the vet?
