2023 Reliability vs 22’ and 24’

Hi folks,

I’m considering purchasing a used Murano. I was very impressed by the consumer reports reliability scores and have always been a fan of Nissan’s. My dad had an 04’ Maxima when I was growing up that I thought was the coolest thing on earth at the time.

My question: Consumer Reports is very high on the 22’ and 24’ model years, but there’s a dip for the 23’ model year’s reliability. That doesn’t make a lot of intuitive sense to me.

Does anyone know if there’s a reason behind that dip? Is it something I should be wary of?

Thanks in advance!
