Is this a good deal/price? (2024 Nissan leaf SV Plus: 17735 miles, 4 door, white hatchback-located in MA
I have never negotiated in my life and I am very intimidated but trying my best!
Starting price was $18335
They told me they have very “competitive fair prices” when i told them i found a 2025 sv plus with 30k miles for 17800 (this is true- then i got it down to 16500 but then i have to pay shipping)
when i said that, he got frantic and was trying to capitalize on how the mileage on his model was very low and he wanted me to come to the dealership in person.
i then told him, well ik that the battery being used is being phased out so it lowers buyer interest
and this ev will depreciate a lot. i also work from home and dont mind that extra wear and tear of the 2025 one.
After that his colleague sent me paper work that said they will drop it by $750 so the price was then $17605
but 19519 in total bc of taxes and doc fees
did i do a good job ? and is this a fair price ?
