Progression into quant finance
Hello!!
Im currently in my first year of uni for Accounting&Finance, however I want to mainly focus on finance as my future career.
I don’t have a strong maths background, neither do I have it for A-levels but i’m willing to teach myself this year and sit it privately, if I get A or A* i’ll probably try to sit further maths privately too.
Do you think it would be possible for me to progress into a Quant finance-type masters after my ACF degree?
The modules im choosing for my second and third year are:
Year 2 -> Financial markets & data analytics for accounting and finance
Year 3 -> Forecasting machine learning & AI
Ik I sound pretty delusional, but your girl had a rough start to life academically and just wants to make something of herself, any advice would be appreciated 😭🩷
