Hi all, please help. I have no photos, only a memory of a fruit I tried whilst backpacking in South East Asia back in 2003. It was maybe Thailand, Laos, Vietnam perhaps…I was travelling on a bus and locals were coming up and selling their wares. I bought a bag of fruit and maybe my memory is playing tricks on me but they were like small white apples, very crunchy, a bit juicy, tasted similar to apples too, and so delicious on a hot day. I have never come across them again and no amount of Google search is helping me. They may have looked a bit like a smooth garlic but I could be making that up. Any ideas? 🙏 thank you
