Recently I read a season 10 comic issue by IDW, in which I learn there’s more dogs in the MLP universe. It’s so interesting and awesome to learn that the diamond dogs built an entire kingdom for themselves and seeing the sisters/princesses. I’m super sad it never got adapted into an episode because the lore and story behind it is so fascinating.
I’ll admit that she’s a very attractive beaver and I really love her personality and design!
Here are the before and after photos of the locations in Los Angeles in which JB did a photoshoot there for My World in 2009. I managed to find all of them, mainly from Venice Beach, and as for the bike photo, it’s located in the corner of Wellesley Ave. and Expo Alley. I’m very proud of finding it after 6 years.
One of the big highlights for me is great LGBTQ+ representation, especially the episode dedicated to Penelope and Summer. It’s like if you take The Fox and the Hound, but make it a lesbian story, and I highly admire the writing and effort put into them. My heart melts when they met and do all sorts of activities together. And I’m sad that they drift apart once their respective families found about it. I do hope we get to see more of their relationship in Season 2, especially with that ending from the finale. They’re soooo adorable together OMG! 😭
I watched all of season 1 of the show with my bestie, and I gotta say, it’s honestly a solid adult series. Yes it’s all about animals getting down and making out with other furry creatures, but behind it all, it’s actually some good writing, amazing voice acting, and well-written commentary on relationships and spouse culture. The way the writers tackle topics like polyamory, mommy issues, jealousy, performance anxiety, and the struggles of platonic cohabitation is admirable, I appreciate they keep it grounded and relatable. I really love the dynamic of the main four characters, trying to help each other, and always being supportive of one another. If you don’t wanna give it a chance because of Big Mouth, it’s perfectly fine, but for those who are optimistic, Mating Season is honestly worth watching! It has sex and all, but beneath it all, it’s a well-written show about love, individuality, and expressing your true feelings. Wouldn’t mind seeing a season 2 if it ever gets the green light.
I love to know what were your guys’ thoughts and opinions on the spa ponies? Personally, I think they’re super cute and sweet! I love their color scheme and the times when they appear in the show, especially when they have speaking roles, they’re fun and sweet! Their accents are perfect for them!
Another unreleased song I love to share here is Give Me Your Heart, recorded in 2009. Originally meant to be on My World but it got for unknown reasons. Only the demo by Johnta Austin is found, but the final version by JB is not. It’s registered on ASCAP, but so far, it has yet to be leaked/resurfaced.

I just saw it minutes ago, and it’s embarrassingly cringe.
The song Club Can’t Handle Me is very nostalgic and iconic to me growing up in the 2010s. I really enjoy the beat and especially the chorus that made it catchy and awesome! One of my favorite parts of the song is the female vocals, I always wonder who did that. I looked it up and some say it’s Carmen Key, while others say it’s Nicole Scherzinger. I love to know from you guys who did the female backing vocals, and I wonder if there are official stems from the song too.
