I’ve always ridden my cruiser board at the pump track but thinking about getting a bike to bring as well since my local track is mostly bikes. I’ve been out of the bike world for the last 20 years and have no idea what’s a good option for pump tracks.

Ideally I’m looking for a mountain bike, with gears so I can ride trails as well. I’m 6’1 and 190 lbs located in the US. Most likely buying secondhand off marketplace and have a budget around $400. I see a lot of specialized rock hoppers and trek Marins on marketplace for pretty cheap, would either of those be decent? I think the best option from what I can see is the Giant STP, however it’s way out of my price range new and can’t find any available used.

Any other recs?
