Rog Ally Z1 Extreme Spare parts
I bought the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme in November 2024. I had been using it until March 3rd, when it suddenly turned off and stopped charging.
I tried several methods from Reddit and YouTube to turn it back on, but unfortunately nothing worked. I then took it to my friend’s service shop. He is experienced in board-level repairs, and after inspecting it we found that the motherboard had a major short.
We tried tracing the short and discovered that it was affecting the soldered RAM on the board. Since replacing this type of RAM is very difficult, especially for me in India, we decided to stop the repair attempt.
Because of this, I have decided to sell the device for spare parts.
Everything else in the unit is genuine and original, including:
Display
Battery
Joysticks
Button boards
Case and other components
If anyone is interested, please let me know which part you need. If someone wants to buy the entire unit, that would be even better.
