How to approach learning german?? from A2 to B2

Hello fellow people!

I’ve been learning German for about 6 years now because my school offers it as a mandatory second language (alongside English). However, my estimated level is only around A2. My old school kept reverting back to A1 because a lot of my classmates were struggling to keep up.

Now at my new school my German professor noticed that I’m really putting in the work , even though I'm obviously struggling . Anyways because of my effort, she decided to “challenge” me by entering me into a Goethe B2 “competition” (or something like that) next year (around May or June). While I’m super excited, I genuinely have no idea if it's realistic to jump from a shaky A2 to a strong B2 in just one year...

For context, I don’t normally struggle with languages. I already speak two fluently and have a B1 proficiency in a third. It’s not that I can’t grasp languages I just have no idea how to approach German.
Since I've taken the subject for 7 years, I actually understand most of the core grammar concepts and rules. My absolute biggest roadblocks right now are vocabulary and, of course, Der/Die/Das. 😭💔

Does anyone have advice on how to approach this jump? What specific methods worked for you, and are there any websites, apps, or resources you highly recommend for intensive B2 preparation
