I'd like to update from Patch 6 to Patch 8
I've been playing my game on patch 6 since it came out, and never updated simply because at the time, I didn't want to potentially screw over my saves and lose my saves due to outdated mods. Now, I'd like to finally update to patch 8, but I'm afraid of potentially screwing up my game, plus I'm not totally sure how I could go about my mods once updated. I'm worried about a few things:
- If I can still use bg3 mod manager, or if I have to use the in game mod manager and start my mods all over
- How to make the transition in the first place, or if I even should
- How risky is it to make this big of a jump, especially to such a major patch. I'm really afraid of losing my saves, but I'm not sure what would cause it exactly, or if there's some sort of precautions I could take
I'm not very savvy with this sort of stuff so any help would be appreciated!
