My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon in Maui for February and would love some advice from people who’ve been there! 🌺

We’re hoping to keep the total trip under $20k CAD for about 2 weeks (including flights, hotel, food, excursions, etc.).
We want a mix of relaxing beach/pool days and adventure — things like helicopter tours, whale watching, ATV tours, snorkeling, maybe a luau, etc.

A few questions:
Best areas in Maui to stay for a honeymoon?
Resort/hotel recommendations that feel luxurious without being insanely expensive?
Is it worth splitting the trip between different areas/resorts?
Any must-do excursions or activities?
Best beaches/restaurants?
Things you wish you knew before going?
Any tourist traps or things to avoid?
