Traveling to Japan with Type 1 Diabetic Teenager

Good morning! 🌞
I have never posted on Reddit, a little nervous to get trolled or flamed because I am posting in the wrong spot. I think I got it right, but redirect me if not!

My daughter is a type 1 diabetic and she also had metastatic thyroid cancer when she was 12, which she has beaten 💕, but she had a really rough couple of years which earned her a Make-A-Wish. She chose to travel to Japan for her wish. We are SO excited to go and she (14), her 16 year old brother and I travel early next month. As we get closer to departure, I am trying to plan for a smooth, stress-free trip. I have found information on how to clear TSA screening with her diabetic supplies, but I realized that TSA doesn't exist in Japan and I have no idea what documentation or advance preparation I need to do to clear security with her insulin vials/pens, insulin pump, sharps & backup supplies.

We fly in and out of Haneda Airport. Can anyone share info or a resource on what steps to take & documentation to secure so that we can clear security without issues? The stuff I have found so far said that if you don't have proper documentation for certain liquids, they will just have you throw it out and not be able to take it on board. The thought of not having additional insulin to fill her pump or pens in case her pump fails is making me legitimately nauseous.

Also, my husband, the kiddos dad, is not traveling with us. We are still married, the kids are ours, he just does not fly, at all. So I am solo-parenting for this adventure! The Make-a-Wish coordinator suggested I fill out paperwork that my husband has to sign to document that I am allowed to travel internationally with the kids without him. Is there anything special/specific I need to have documented for this purpose?

Thank you so much in advance for any guidance you might be able to share!!
