Parking fines
Does anyone know if they give parking fines/tickets on the first week of classes? I’m unsure if I’ll have a bit of time to purchase my pass or if I should get that done ASAP

Hi everyone, I’m an incoming transfer student and I’ve been having a hard time getting my transcripts accepted by the school. I sent my last semesters transcript in early June and got confirmation it was received by CSUS but it’s been close to two months and I’m not receiving any of the credit off the transcript. This semester I had to take the few classes I could but if I’m unable to get the transcripts processed it would throw my ability to graduate on time off. I’m wondering if anyone has or is going through the same thing and how I should approach fixing this issue. Thank you!
I’ll be starting my junior year in mechanical engineering in the fall and I feel like I’m kind of making a mistake. I don’t feel like I have the passion and drive for the subject everyone around me seems to have and I always end up feeling like I’m the dumbest person in all of my classes. I just uprooted my partner and I and moved us to a new city where we know nobody to continue my education and lately I’ve been wondering if it was worth it. I always loved math and science and I’m good enough to get by with B’s and could do better if I tried more but in the last year I feel like all of my interest and motivation has been slowly dying. I just feel so drained and over being in school and I don’t even know if I want to work in the traditional engineering setting because a corporate 9-5 sounds absolutely horrible to me. In addition to this I’m currently stuck in a job I hate because I’d have to either take a huge pay cut which would make it so I can’t pay rent or I would have better availability than I have since I’m in school and it’s been making me resent this field even more. I’m not really sure what to do at this point because I don’t want to waste my time and money by not finishing my degree nor do I want to make the move my partner and I just did be for nothing but it’s been really difficult to want to continue with this degree. I’d love to know if anyone on here has experienced anything like this and what you did to better your situation.
Hi everyone! I’m about to have my third and final interview for an internship tomorrow! I’m supposed to be going onto the sight for a “technical/skills evaluation”. I’m a little nervous because although I am familiar and capable with CAD software and many other skills needed for the position, I can be a little bit slow with it sometimes. I’m a little bit nervous because I’m not sure what the evaluation will entail or how to prepare, so I’m afraid any slowness or unfamiliarity with any of their programs could make me lose the opportunity. If anyone has experienced any sort of evaluation like this I’d love to hear about that experience! Thank you!
Hi everyone I’m a new mechanical engineering transfer student and my orientation is tomorrow! I was just curious about what I should expect from that and wondering if I’d need to bring anything with me to the orientation? I was told I’d be registering for my classes during the orientation so should I bring a computer or anything for that? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
