So many people play a role in a plane being ready to fly, the checks and maintenance, all the cargo being loaded properly, everything beyond just the pilots flying the plane. We all have bad days where we are tired, not 100%, do something with shortcuts. How can we be sure the mechanics and engineers dont do the same thing and a crash wont happen bc of a screw being loose, cargo being improperly loaded or something else? This scares me so much

Just got off the first flight of a 2 flight journey and idk if I can get the second one. I have work tomorrow so have to get home but the flight I was on was so shaky, and multiple times it felt like the plane dropped several meters. I honestly thought this is the end. It kept dropping and banking until it felt like I was parallel with the ground. I was shaking so hard I felt like I was outside of my skin. Idk what to do. Ive never had such an awful flight before. I need to.go home but I can't
