Wood Board to Fix Unmountable Faucet/Air Gap

Hello

Our main kitchen sink, underneath is really in bad shape with board rotten. Our kitchen faucet and the air gap are fairly loose and not mounted tightly.

A very similar Youtube Video -- https://youtu.be/ZL4hBn4ogcM?si=jBkDwvC9pQbJDhwK

I measured the board and it's 4 inches vertically and 24 inches horizontally. Could I simply put a new board on these and put these two Faucet and Air Gap holes?

Is this plumbing work? or do I need to call Handyman or Carpenter to do this work?

Thank you!

How Do I Uninstall this Shower Rod?

Hello

I have this really corrosive shower rod. It looks very old and funky. Not the ones you'd find these days. I tried to remove but it won't come off and I don't know how to. It seems like the end round base is bolted into the wall.

I tried to put a small wrench through the small hole in the bottom, but nothing really clicks. Same with another hold on the top (not shown in the pictures).

A short video I recorded -- https://youtube.com/shorts/aLcab8JJoQs?feature=share

Does anyone know how to remove these? I want to install much simpler rod that doesn't require bolts/screws. Do I need to call a plumber/handymen to get rid of these without damaging my wall?

Thank you!
