Considering School in China
Hello! I am from Canada and I do have good grades (>90%) in all my classes. I have recently started to consider studying in China instead of Canada for a few reasons.
The first and most obvious one is it's much cheaper than in Canada.
Second, I would like to experience another country and culture rather than stay inside my bubble, for the simple reason it'd be sick to do so.
And third, it'd give me an opportunity to learn a second language, as my French education went nowhere.
However, I do have a couple questions to determine where I should move on from this point.
First, what are some school you'd recommend for international students in medicine (specifically MBBS)? I'd prefer somewhere in the Pearl River Delta, near Shanghai, Chengdu, or Beijing but it's fine if it outside those areas. They also would need an English program, as I cannot speak Mandarin and I cannot learn within a year (or two if I take an extra year of high school).
Second, what high school classes do schools typically want to see?
Third, how would I go to apply to the schools? Is there a website I can go to or do the schools have websites of their own I need to go to.
Fourth, are Chinese schools or organisations open to giving scholarships to foreigners? If not, what are the ways you'd get financing?
Also, if there's any information you'd think I should know, please tell!! I'm also already considering Fudan University and Zhejiang University, if these are bad options I'd love to hear why.
