I’m getting way too obsessed with my heart rate, but it’s just weird: my resting in the afternoon and evening is always in the 60s. Lying in bed it even gets as low as 50. So why is it that earlier in the day, I’m in the 80s and 90s? I notice it particularly when eating breakfast. Before you ask, I do have a small cup of coffee with breakfast, but it’s half decaf. Unless I am extremely sensitive to caffeine, it shouldn’t be making the slightest difference to my heart.
Is this a pattern that anyone has seen before?
