Light frost last night and my cover fell off. Are these salvageable?

Edit: Value and bang for your buck includes eye comfort as binoculars will most likely take the place of eyeglasses while bird watching
Hello:
I'm in the market for budget friendly bang for your buck binoculars specifically for bird watching.
I've spent a bit of time researching this and I think I've come to a possible decision (Celestron Nature DX 8x42) but I'm wondering if there are any comparables in the same price range y'all would recommend? I value lightweight material durability, and value for money. The only two specifics I'm not budging on is 8x42 lens and the price point as I cannot afford to go higher than the price point already mentioned but it's possible to upgrade later if needed.
Any and all recommendations that fit within these parameters are welcome!
