Hi all. Like the title says, is this fin rot? His fins used to be completely blue but I noticed these light, almost white, patches today. Water parameters are good, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10. Water temp is 78F. He’s in a 5 gallon tank with pothos, frog bit, and anubias. Usually no tank mates but I did find a small snail in the tank a few days ago so I’m sure there are more that I didn’t find 😵‍💫

Does it look like this guy is starting to pinecone or am I just paranoid? My 3 year old took it upon himself to feed his fish while I was in the kitchen and dumped almost an entire container of betta pellets into his tank. I obviously cleaned the tank asap and put the food where my 3 year old cannot reach but I’m worried about Mr. Lightning McQueen here.
