Every time he crits and the enemy is hitting him while in a critical swing he will parry, absorb the damage and knock enemies back. Make him a very good support unit to help stall even longer. Those that are unable to be knocked back will only get their damage negated. I could see a possibility of a more variety of set's and play style for him. Set him up with more crits chance and more health all in purpose to stall and parry or set him up for the usual spamability and absorb damage at a cost of more courage spent.
