Hi everyone,

I'm concerned about my PCH (chipset) temperatures on my ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 (G834).

Idle / Desktop: 92°C – 95°C.

Gaming / High Load: 105°C – 108°C.

Issue: I’ve noticed occasional audio crackling when using a USB wireless headset during heavy gaming.

My laptop was recently repasted with liquid metal, but the technician says these PCH temps are "standard" for the SCAR series. However, 92°C at idle feels extremely high.

Are you seeing similar numbers on your Scar 18? Should I insist on replacing the thermal on the PCH?
