I have low porosity, thick wavy hair (thin strands just lots and lots of hair) use a clarifying shampoo every 2 ish weeks. Shampoo every 2-3 days. Use deep conditioner almost every shower. Hair is sooooo sooo dry. The root and like the first inch or two out is sooooo tangly and I instantly get a rats nest in as soon as I pop out of the shower (yes I brush my hair before shower and with deep conditioner in). Once dry, it feels super thick and rough and dry by the root. Not sure what the issue is or how to fix this?

Currently use native shampoo/conditioner
Internsense deep conditioner
Also tried Malibu hard water shampoo/conditioner and treatment to see if it was a hard water issue and saw no improvement.
