I rented a car through a company when I went to Maryland-Baltimore for 3 days, I checked the car when I picked it up and when I dropped it off, I am completely sure that it was the same as I picked up because I didn’t had any incident with it while driving .However they sent me an email saying that I damaged the windshield of the car while there were already a scratch on that windshield
that I saw, this scratch has been recorded in their app as an actual damage of the car during the pick up, however I didn’t see any other damage and still have some video that I took while driving the car. Now I don't know how to deal with that because they want to charge me $900 for the windshield. There was nothing wrong with that car when I dropped it off.An agent checked it too and we both signed the paper stating that there were no issue reported on the car and the car is being returned as it has been picked. Any advice or input will be highly appreciated. Thank you!
