Just saw this little guy walking around outside (I took these photos, it is Spring here) and am not sure what kind of bird he is. He looks like a sort of dove or pigeon but I'm not sure because I've not seen coloring like that before. And where is this sort of bird native? Because I live in Southwestern Ohio and feel like a bird like this doesn't belong here but I could totally be off. Please let me know I am very curious. This was also in a suburban area.

My husband and I have this tree in our backyard and we noticed the little flowers/blossoms starting to bloom. They look to be white and yellow/orange in color. Does anyone have any idea what kind of tree this is? I haven't really seen a tree like this before personally. It's a big/tall tree as it is taller than our one story house. This is southwestern Ohio.
