Just how good is the Quandrix Unlimited Precon?

So, I am a mtg baby, just started 2 weeks ago, and the first thing I got my hands on was this precon. After playing against several people, one of my friends have started to act like this thing is unreasonably strong and incredibly hard and annoying to play against. So I wanted to ask, just how strong is it? What are its pros and cons? Any other discussion is also welcome. Thanks in advance!

I know what i want in lore. I know what i want the overarching goal to be. But the actual process or structuring in which I should write it is foreign to me. By that I mean how I should write specific arcs or sessions I want etc. I know books have their specific dialogue and characters and encounters all written down, but I wanted to ask how others structured their campaig writing and planning.
