Hi everyone, first time posting but I’m in some desperate need of advice.

I’m currently a non-tenured teacher (it’s my fifth year teaching but second in my current district) in Maryland. I just received a job offer to teach at a really great school out of state, but the deadline to resign from my current district was May 1. I know that districts can pull your teaching license if you resign past the deadline so I’m wondering what my options are to make sure I’m able to take this new position that I’m really really excited about.

Any advice or anyone who has experienced something like this would be greatly appreciated.
