Hello, my friend was detained in Dubai. His passport and personal belongings are in his apartment. How can I retrieve them? How can I speak to the building's management about this and what should I say? How can I convince them to let me into the apartment to retrieve his passport? I have no contact with him, and they definitely won't let me see him at the place where he's being held, so he can’t even sign any document that will allow me to enter his apartment.
