Will a 2-year gap in clinical experience hurt my med school application?
I only have about 400 hours of clinical experience, and I stopped working at the clinic around 2 years ago because of serious family medical issues. During that time, I had to step up and help support my family business. I’ll be returning to clinical work in June, and I’m planning to apply this cycle.
Would medical schools see the gap in clinical work as a red flag?
